Imago Christi is a community of diverse individuals united by the gospel. We have personally experienced the power of the gospel to transform individuals as well as communities. We believe that God has called us not only to enjoy the fruits of His love, but to share that love with others.
Imago Christi is a little different than what you might expect. Of course it looks and sounds a little different, but it goes deeper than that. At Imago Christi it is our sincere desire to not “go to church”, but “be the church”. This means that to us, church is much more than attending on Sunday just because it is the cultural expectation. Of course we still gather on Sundays. But the real business of Imago Christi happens throughout the week as people in this community spend the week pouring out their lives for each other and anyone else they might come in contact with, not just talking about Jesus, but being like Jesus. As we gather on Sundays, what you see is a reflection of what is going on the rest of the week. We desire to be a place where anyone can gather; the weak and the strong, the poor and the rich, the lost and the found, the doubter and the believer, the questioners, the broken, the healing… People.
Feel free to check out our website, you’ll find more information on who we are and what we do. But first, you need to know why we do anything and everything. The gospel tab is the place to start. The gospel drives our minds, our hearts, and our mission.
