Why join the Core?

• the Core is the heartbeat of Imago, the hands and feet of the ministry
• the Scriptures instruct us to do good to all, especially to the household of faith, the Core is the household of faith
• the Pastors are commited to dedicate the bulk of their prayer, counseling, and teaching to the Core
• the Core are the people who can start and lead ministries at Imago
• the Core plays an instrumental role in the selection of Pastors, thus greatly influencing the direction and future of Imago

How to Join the Core

-Whether or not you are part of the Core, if you are exploring how God might want you to connect in deeper ways at Imago, we invite you to consider the following:

Baptism

Baptism is a way of “going public” with your faith in Jesus. It’s the next step after you trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Join a Community Group

How do you stay connected to God and other people throughout the week when we aren’t gathered as a worshipping family?  Community Groups are weekly gatherings where small groups of people come together for the purpose of helping one another live by faith in Jesus Christ. Groups serve as the primary means of community and gospel transformation, realizing that change occurs in intentional, Christ-centered relationships.

Serve

The community of God is a serving community. One of the best ways to plug into a church is to get your hands a little dirty… Every single week, our volunteers give their time and skills to serve others. Greeting, running sound, holding babies, hosting groups - you fit in somewhere.
