Family
I have been married to Carol for 43 years. We have four daughters and ten grandchildren. Two of our daughters are here in Cedar Rapids, one in Denver, CO, and the other in Laurel, MD. One daughter is married to a Brazilian, another married to a gentleman born in Mexico, but now an American citizen, and a third daughter is married to a Wisconsinite.

Master of Divinity from Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN.
Doctor of Missiology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL.

Quote or Advice
The older I get (and I am getting there), the less important things are and the more important values are. Also, I have learned from my deceased father to treat ALL others as if they were more important than I am.

What I Enjoy
My wife and I enjoy being with our grandkids wherever they may be. We also enjoy traveling to do historical family research and just for enjoyment.

Where I Grew Up
I grew up in the heart of the city of Chicago and have a passion for reaching out to people living in the heart of our cities. I married a Cedar Rapids girl who was in the second graduating class of Prairie High School.

Anything else you want to say
Both my wife and I are the first believers in Jesus in our families. We were both at the tender age of ten when someone told us about Jesus. We therefore sense the extreme importance of reaching out to boys and girls when they are still at that tender age.
