Family: Nancy and I were married August 18, 1973. Three children have survived our parenting. Two grandsons are striving to do the same.

What you Enjoy: My wife, home and family, blues and jazz music, quiet nights to read, hiking, gardening and the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs teach me how to endure suffering….
Where you grew up and what you did as a kid:
Born in Wisconsin, spent my grade school years in the north Chicago area, loved baseball, pranking the neighbors (I should have spent time in jail), camping with my family, began rooting for the Iowa Hawkeyes when we moved to Iowa in the late 60’s.
